Laundromats, hotels, gyms, salons and senior living communities run their washers back to back, and when one stops, the work piles up behind it. Best Pro repairs commercial washers and washer-extractors for businesses across Colorado Springs and in Monument.
Machines we work on
- Coin- and card-operated front-loaders and top-loaders in laundromats and apartment laundry rooms
- Soft-mount washer-extractors, which float on springs and shocks
- Hard-mount washer-extractors anchored into a concrete base
- Stacked commercial washer-dryers
What wears out first
- The door lock. On a busy front-loader it’s the part replaced most often. The controller won’t start a cycle until it sees the door locked, and a lock that won’t release keeps a customer’s laundry inside.
- The drain. Plenty of washer-extractors have no drain pump: the water leaves through a drain valve into a trough. A sock caught in the valve or lint packed in the trough keeps water in the drum, and the controller won’t start the extract.
- Bearings and seals. High extract speeds are hard on them. A roar during spin is the warning; replacing them early saves the shaft and the outer tub.
- Suspension and mounting. On soft-mount machines the shocks and springs wear and the machine starts to walk. On hard-mount machines, vibration and out-of-balance shutdowns often come from anchors that have worked loose or a base that has cracked, not from the washer itself.
- The drive. The motor on a newer washer-extractor is run by an inverter, a variable-frequency drive. A drive fault code doesn’t always mean a new drive: we test the motor, the wiring and the signals going into the drive first.
- Leaks. A worn door gasket, a drain valve that no longer seals or a failed tub seal.
Chemicals and water
Chemical injection pumps usually belong to your chemical supplier, who also services them; we check the washer’s side of the connection. If a machine fills slowly or not at all, the inlet screens and valves come next — and in an unheated laundry room, a supply line that froze on a January night.
The price is agreed before the repair starts, and parts and labor carry a 3–6 month warranty. Dryers in the same room: commercial dryer repair. A washer at home: washer repair.
