Viking ranges and rangetops

• Igniters clicking nonstop. Viking sealed burners share a spark module, so one wet burner or a faulty switch behind one knob can make every igniter click. After a spill or a cleaning, let the burners dry fully first; if the clicking continues, the switch or the spark module needs replacing.
• Burner won’t light or the flame is uneven. Clogged burner ports, a misaligned cap, a cracked igniter or a weak spark.
• Oven slow to heat, or a brief gas smell before it lights. Most Viking gas ovens use a glow-bar igniter. As it weakens, it takes longer and longer to open the gas valve, until the oven stops lighting at all. Replacing the igniter fixes it.
